The Golden Gophers last played in Penn State in 2022. 
The Travelin' Gophers experienced historic town of Carlisle, Pa.
With a morning arrival on game day, a majority of the Travelin' Gophers were treated to a Penn State Tailgate experience.
Everyone raved how great the Penn State Fans were and that it was the best pregame tailgate time that they ever experienced. 
  The Travelin' Gophers stayed in the quaint town of Carlisle and spent a complete day and night in
Gettysburg, PA visiting the historic Gettysburg National Military Park.

This year the Travelin' Gophers will experience the deadliest one day battle in American Military History.

President Lincoln issued the EMANCIPATION PROCLAMATION after this battle.

The Travelin' Gophers will spend one night in a hotel overlooking the Potomac River and
taste the cuisine of historic Shepherdstown, West Virginia and
spend a little time at the Antietam Visitor Center and Museum.
Friday morning, visit the Antietam National Battlefield with a private guide.
Next stop Carlisle, Pa where you will spend the evening showing off your Gopher gear
in the downtown restaurants and establishments.
GAME DAY - morning arrival - parking next to Beaver Stadium near the Penn State tailgaters.
You will experience the hospitality of the Penn State "TAILGATE"
meeting Penn State Fans who pride themselves as the best tailgate fans in the Big Ten.
​Fly home Sunday.
